In 4th grade Scott took up the trumpet. It was fun, but in a family full of musicians that played CSN, The Eagles, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band – a trumpet did not prove to be very helpful during “fam jams”. In high school, Scott learned the guitar and began his songwriting journey. |

Mike started off playing the piano as a young lad. He hated it. One year for Christmas, roughly around the age of 11, his dad got him an electric guitar and a small amp. The rest is pretty much history. Growing up listening to artists like Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Zeppelin, Clapton and the like, blues was just a natural style that he picked up. If you asked Mike, he'd say that the blues and his emotion definitely come out in juniper RED's music, and he couldn't be happier with it. Mike is certainly what you could call a gear junkie, always modifying his live rig and his sound, searching for that matchless guitar tone that you can only dream of. That being said, don't ever expect any two shows to be the same. |

Matt has been playing the piano since the first grade according to his mom, but he thinks it was later, like when he was 10 or 11 years old. Classically trained, he started teaching himself the rock and roll, jazz fusion style he plays today. He also likes to add gospel and soul undertones to his piano parts. Growing up listening to piano rock of Billy Joel, Elton John, Something Corperate, and Coldplay, he is also heavily influenced by piano parts found in Dave Matthews Band and Journey. He learned to properly sing while involved in choral and drama programs at college. Today he is very happy to be a member of juniperRED and loves being able to hang out with his friends. Matt also is on a mission to singlehandedly bring the Key-tar back to prominance in modern music. Matt enjoys soccer and food especially sushi. He also is deeply in love with his Lab-mix puppy, Harpsichord. |

Sean is a talented musican who has an ear for many types of music. He started playing bass as a little kid and continued playing in garage band through highschool. He moved to drums and played around the central Florida area in a band with fellow juniperRED member Kevin Hodges on bass. When juniperRED was forming and looking for the right bassist to fill out the sound they found Sean who provided a funky edge that was new to the band. Sean then was moved to his more natural instrument of drums where he now sits on his thrown of goodness. Sean did not write this bio so there may be misinformation. He wanted to keep the old one but that just wasn't going to happen. As soon as he gives the webmaster his real bio it will be up here. |
